Komatsu was founded in 1991 with a single mandate: build excavators that perform reliably in conditions where downtime is measured in project risk, not just money. Over 30 years, we have grown from a regional manufacturer to a global B2B supplier serving 98 countries, with 3,800 employees and 420,000 m² of ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing capacity.

Our product range spans 1.5t mini excavators for urban utility work to 80t ultra-class machines for open-pit iron ore and copper mining — all manufactured under the same ISO quality management system, with the same engineering standards, and backed by the same global spare parts network.
